Grandparents in the Bible

Grandparents in Bible times had a powerful influence on their grandchildren. Sometimes this influence was good, sometimes not so good. Read the scriptures and answer the questions below.

Ruth 4:14-15
The women of the village spoke a blessing on Naomi and her new grandson Obed. What did they say he would do for her?

Genesis 31:22-28
How did Laban feel when his son-in-law Jacob took his wives (Laban’s daughters) and children (Laban’s grandchildren) and left in a hurry to move to a distant country?

Genesis 48:8-10
Israel gave his grandsons Ephraim and Manasseh three things that every child’s heart longs for. What were they?
