| Clair and Clara Schnupp are proud parents of five married daughters and grandparents of more then 20 lively grandchildren. It was their vision in the early 1970's of helping their young aboriginal friends establish solid Christian homes that led to the founding of NYM Ministries. That vision which started with youth has grown to include families, fathers and community leaders. Clair and Clara have a full-time teaching and counselling ministry which has taken them from south of the equator to the northernmost Inuit settlements of Canada. Clair has obtained a D.Phil. from Oxford Graduate School and Clara an M.A. from Providence
Theological Seminary. Both are members of Manitoba Association of Professional Christian Counsellors.
